Success in this medium cannot be measured through anything quantifiable, but through the sheer force of the message conveyed to the audience emotionally.
Who Am I?
After graduating from the London Film School, Robin’s first feature, “Maskot” (2006), received numerous nominations and awards, including Best Picture and Best Script at the Asian Festival of First Films in 2006. Immediately after that, he joined Kismet Films as a TV commercial director and co-produced the multi-award-winning “Gone Shopping” (2007). Since then, he has become a go-to collaborator and continues to receive accolades for the projects he’s been involved in.
Robin’s versatility as an award-winning filmmaker enables him to direct, produce, and edit high-quality fiction and non-fiction content all over the world. Even though his strengths lie in talent direction and storytelling, Robin never neglects the visual details in his work, and he is open to a variety of challenges in directing.
With his technical knowledge and creative vision, Robin founded FOCUSED equipment in 2009, a boutique customized workflow solutions provider and camera rental company in Indonesia. As of 2021, he has joined Hedge.video, Colourlab.ai, and Audio Design Desk as part of the advisory board.
Robin is also an advocate for education and provides workshops and mentoring to younger filmmakers whenever possible.
